December - Christmas Wishes and Card "Out-takes"

Lila being her devilish self, Will getting a little tired of taking pictures,
and Cate being "cheesy". For some reason I like this one. :)

This is the shot Jeremy wanted to use for our card this year. He likes the camel...

Getting goofy!

Lila is our little firecracker, and a sweetheart at the same time. Quite a combination!

Miss Cate - she never ceases to amaze us with her brains and beauty.

Will is really growing up - I'm talking about height and maturity - he is a great kiddo.

Three of the reasons I live a happy life!

It is no secret around our house that Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love the decorations, the lights, the music, the baking, the messages and cards from friends and loved ones we aren't able to see often enough...I could go on and on. We try to remember everyday why we are blessed with such a time of celebration each year, and that is because of the birth of Jesus Christ our Savior. We pray that each of you have a wonderful holiday season for whatever reason it is that YOU celebrate this time of year.

I have worked hard to get this blog updated before Christmas cards are out and hope that you enjoy reading the little stories and looking at pictures of what is going on with our little family as we live, laugh, love and be happy. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Our love to all of you!
Jeremy, Christa, Will, Cate and Lila.

December - Cate's 6th Birthday

We just can't believe that "Baby Cate" as we lovingly refered to her when she was still in mommy's tummy is turing six. Mommy didn't have a hard time with other birthdays, but this one is tough! Six is so big!!! Cate loves it, though - she probably wishes she was turing sixteen! Even though she is getting older she still is the same ray of sunshine in our lives she has always been. Happy birthday, Cate. We love you!

December - Dance Recital

This December dance recital was Lila's first, and Cate's first where she performed a jazz routine. The recital went perfectly and both girls did a fantastic job. Lila's ballet dance was to the Sugar Plum Fairy music from the Nutcracker and her tap was to Frosty the Snowman. Cate's tap was Rockin' On Top of the World and her jazz was Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree (lots of rockin'!).

December - Christa's graduation

After 18 months of hard work (not counting the 2 years of taking prereqs and applying for the program), Christa has graduated! She is officially a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. She has a few exams to take to become registered and she will be done! She is still looking for a job but has several leads that she hopes will pan out soon! Until then she plans on relaxing, spending time with Jeremy and the kids, and getting caught up on things that have been neglected while she has been in school (this blog to name one!)

Christa is second from the left.

November - Helicopter Ride

The kids had a chance to take a helicopter ride this month with Nonno (Christa's dad) and thought it was awesome! They got to fly from a north Fort Worth airport around downtown Fort Worth and back. Pretty exciting!

November - Deer Season

Well, November brings lots of things, and deer season is one of them. Jeremy shot a 12 pt buck this year while we were all at the lease!

October - Halloween Trick or Treaters

Serious Soldier Will

Cate the Cute Witch

Lila as Tinkerbell
